What this site collects

As little as it can: your email if you ask for the one-pager, and your booking details if you schedule a call. The site sets no cookies of its own, and we don't sell anyone's information.

Who we are

Rap & Rhapsody: The Hip Hop Orchestra Experience is run by YUNG Citizen in Charlotte, North Carolina. For questions about this page or your information, email yungcitizen704@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

  • Your email address, when you request the one-pager. We use it to send you the one-pager and occasional updates about Rap & Rhapsody. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Your booking details, when you schedule a call. Calendly collects what its booking form asks for, such as your name, email and the time you choose, so the call can be held.
  • Anything you send us by email. We use it to reply.

What happens in the background

  • No cookies of our own. The site itself doesn't set any.
  • One note in your browser. After you request the one-pager, your browser remembers it (in local storage, on your device) so you aren't asked again. It never leaves your device; clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
  • Hosting. Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
  • The animation library. It loads from cdnjs, a public script service run by Cloudflare, which sees the same kind of technical details. The site's fonts are served from this site.

Services that load only when you use them

  • The film plays through Vimeo. Nothing loads from Vimeo until you press “Watch the film”; after that, Vimeo may set its own cookies.
  • The booking calendar is Calendly's. It loads only when you click a booking button, and Calendly may set its own cookies.
  • The one-pager form sends your email to Mailchimp only when you submit it.

Who handles your information

We share it only with the services that run the site, each under its own privacy policy, and never sell it.

How long we keep it

Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Booking details stay in Calendly for as long as we need them to run and follow up on the clinic.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email yungcitizen704@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Students

This site is for orchestra directors and school administrators. It isn't aimed at students, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If what this site collects changes, for example if we add visitor analytics, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
